HTML page structure

Every HTML document is split into two parts: the head and the body.

The head element tells your browser information about the page. It is not shown to the human reading the Web page, but the information is important to computers.

The body element makes up the body of your document. This is where everything you want people to see lies. Most of your work will be done inside the body.

HTML documents do not have tails.

Three blind mice, three blind mice,
See how they run!
They all run after the farmer's wife,
And she cut off their tails with a carving knife,
Did you ever see such a thing in your life
As three blind mice!
